This newsletter is for creative thinkers and others who are called to create. As someone who has always loved to read and write, I have felt isolated from the creative sphere, which I thought was reserved for those with a certain kind of innate talent. I thought I belonged firmly in the critical, thinking space. But this longing to be a part of the creative experience isn’t unique to me.
Reflecting on this longing, I realized that thinking, reading, writing, and mothering are all creative acts. I wondered, Who else feels called to seek beauty, stretch the imagination, and search for meaning through that impulse to create imprinted on our hearts? We are all creative, but we need more community and better inspiration to feed our imaginations.

To live out our role as creatives, we need to create space for appreciating beauty, contemplating new ideas, and developing deep attention. All of these activities could be summed up as discovering our “holy wonder”—a sense that our world and experiences are imbued with sacred meaning if we take time to notice. Here you will find topics that expand the boundaries of creativity, which I hope will help us see like artists and come to appreciate the ordinary and extraordinary with awe.
